Il Travaso delle Idee (The Pouring of Ideas) was one of the most popular Italian humorous journals. It was published from Feb. 25, 1900 to Jan. 15, 1966, then resumed in the three-year period 1986-88. It was a weekly of biting satire, without a precise political location. Born in the Giolitti era and established itself at the beginning of Fascism, at the peak of its popularity, it reached 300,000 copies in circulation.
